My approach

Fun, romance, you being you

Choosing the right photographer is about more than just the photos. It’s about who you want to be around on one of the best days of your life. Here’s an overview of what I’m about!

The right person

Choosing a photographer is initially about the images. Then the more important bit: would you like them to be with you on your wedding day? One of my favourite parts of what I do is meeting you, sharing ideas, and getting to know your unique vision.

The perfect wedding gallery is one put together as if by a friend.

Unnoticed but truly involved

My approach is to integrate myself seamlessly into your day, getting to know the most important people in your life. Having a camera pointing at you can often feel awkward and intimidating, but by being involved, that tension is quickly gone, leading to some fun, spontaneous, romantic moments.

I take images that feel like you were involved, just like I was.

Everyday romance

Everyday romance beats forced romance hands down.

Throughout the day, I’ll use a mix of techniques to really make your photos feel alive, and true to the day.

When it comes to the two of you, I won’t ask you to stand awkwardly while you pretend to be super romantic. Let’s capture you being you.

Natural and nostalgic style

I’m a big fan of things ‘as they were’. That’s why I don’t change all the colours of your photos to suit my style, or interfere too much on the day. Sometimes things are messy and drinks get spilled, and I’ll be there to get it all! I want my photos to feel true to life.

I love that disposable feel to wedding photos, and you’ll feel that throughout your gallery, from blurry chaotic moments, to direct flash cake scoffing!
