A beautiful August Bank Holiday celebration at Chapel House Estate, Kent with Ashleigh and Sam, ending with them inviting my partner, Laura, to join us for the Ceilidh. Super special memory from 2023!

Prep with Ashleigh, Sam and their close friends and family was great fun - watching the groom and groomsmen try and tie ties is usually good entertainment value, and so makes for some fun pics!
I love getting some candid, individual and group shots before it all gets going - neither side will see the other until the ceremony, so it’s great to show what’s going on behind the scenes!

A beautiful ceremony in the heart of the Chapel House Estate Orchard. Really intimate with some words from Ashleigh, Sam and four of their close friends. It really was about more than just the two of them.
Drinks in the Walled Courtyard
Confetti shots are big crowd pleasers! They’re super fun (if guests throw confetti up in the air rather than at our couple!) and we’re guaranteed some awesome pics!
Mingling in the courtyard after the ceremony is where everyone can take a breath - after all, months and maybe years of excitement, worry and anticipation have led to saying ‘I do’, and now IT’S DONE!
I usually stick my 35mm on and get involved with everything at this point - I’ll have a chat with the family, get some juicy intel from the cousins and get some heartfelt and silly moments on camera for good measure.

I love this part.
After food (you usually finish first), we head out for about 20 minutes to grab some cute pictures together. And by that time in the day, it’s actually a bit of respite from the crowds!
A little tour of the Estate brings some open fields to run about in, long wild grasses in the Orchard and the intimacy of the greenhouse in the Walled Courtyard.
